Guys -
I have an approved I-140 in the EB 2 category and I'm changing my employer next month. However, my current lawyer emailed me this morning saying that you can transfer your PD, but not in the same category (EB2). In other words, to keep my PD, I will have to apply through EB1 or EB3 with my new employer. I had not heard of this before and was wondering if this is a true statement. Has anyone successfully transfered their PD within the same category? Thanks.

- Take infopass appointment?
- Does it has any affect on my 485?
- What are the things we can ask in Infopass appointment.
Did you sent the HIGH FIVE to IV?

I'm going to India and is planning to get my h1 visa stamped...
How are stamping scenarios these days at Chennai?..esp"lly due to PIMS stuff...
I have followed lot of discussions around H1 stamping and people got struck for weeks/months in India due to PIMS and other issues..
Is it advisable to go for H1 stamping as i'm into 7 th year of extension and I can't afford getting stuck in India for more than the granted period of vacation...I have approved AP documents handy and can use them while coming back to US...
Can someone pls advise me on this?

Check the status using the H1B receipt number usually EACXXXXXX or WACXXXXXX
If something has changed, The status gets changed.....kinda weird.

Hi All,
With my HTC Mozart, I can download app called 'Stocks' which basically look after stocks (nasdaq etc...).
The charts/graph looks very nice and I wonder how they do that ?

I wonder if there are free/open ressource which can help to start to draw so nice graph. Any blog or hyperlink are welcome :ch:

I helping my employer filling the I-129 B-1B Data collection supplement form. In Part C Question 8 Item 4:
Is this the second or subsequent request for an extension of stay that you have filed for this alien?
This application is an extension (for 3 years) for my H1-B. My position in the company is the same as that when applied for my previous (first) H1-B petition.
I have NOT applied for green card/labor certification.
Is the answer Yes or No for this question?

We got the EAD receipt for both of us.My EAD Status says card ordered but my spouses EAD is still pending. Any one in a similar situation? FP Notices receive for both of us.

Hi,
I have applied I-485 in July 2007. My Priority date is May22, 2006 (which is current as per August VISA Bulletin). But I haven't received the Finger Printing notice yet !!
I also went to Local Office but they also couldn't help me.
What I am suppose to do in that case?

I received an email alert regarding "Notice returned undeliverable" yesterday...but the message says notice was returned on Nov 5, 2007. Why did the status change occur so late? Should I be concerned?

Can I travel on a valid / approved AP when my H1 Extension is in progress. This is my
situation:
Valid AP in Hand valid till next year.
H1B expiring 6/20/2011
H1B extension applied on 4/7/11 have rcpt notice.
My questions are this:
1.) When I enter US back in with my AP in mid July will that impact my H1B extension in any way.
2.) Without any EAD will I be Jeapordizing my AOS in any way.
I will be continuing to work with the same employer who is the sponsor of my current
I485.
Request your thoughts and inputs on this situation. Appreciate any replies/advices you may have.

Hi friends,
I got my I-140 approval in premium processing. But unfortunately, USCIS printed the new labor filing date (2010) when the attorney requested my I-140 to capture the old priority date which is June2004. My law firm already contacted USCIS to issue a revised notice with the old priority date (June2004).
How long does USCIS take to issue a revised I-140? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Anything that we can do to expedite the release of the new I-140 notice with correct priority date?
Please let me know when you get a chance

If so i think your I 485 will be automatically updated ..
