I am glad to see sked A here. I have been following this forum for a long time now and there is nothing for healthcare prof though the discussions were very helpful. As I can see it, the july VB put benefits on those going through AOS but as a result those whom I know who are scheduled for interview in their home countries in AUg. was cancelled.
That is sad news!! I can just imagine how they feel, after waiting so long! Anyway lets hope something positive happens for the Oct bulletin.
A hospital I know is SO short of nurses they are offering them GREAT incentives to take on extra shifts. I mean it is an ACUTE shortage.

Not to put any dampers here, but this is extremely frustrating for the EB3 India folks. I mean how freakin long do WE have to wait before we get our turn!
I am EB3-India with PD of August 2003. I am anticipating at least another 2 years. Any forward movement in any category is good news to me.

We all are going through hard time, but we do not need to display our hard feelings for someone through the forum! If you are upset at someone or if you have complains, email the Admin or a Super Moderator.
Do not write rude. Be a little professional at your behavior and communicate professionally.
Now, the fool is trying to change the subject by asking ppl to join the rally. Why in the world wud ppl trust him? The thread is barely 10 pages and after realizing that therez no point in discussing about what this thread is all about, he has shifted subject loyalites. How lame and insane is this guy? Pappu, LogicLife where r u guyz? Why dont u ban him?

It is a long wait.
First the DOS publishes a preliminary report on March/April
then the final report from CIS is not published until July/August of the following year.

Oh Man..that's a very good one..you made my day..No offense to this thread..i do have home loan with ICICI for the last one year..like others mentioned above, it is easy to get approved while being here..i haven't been to any embassy..everything was done through mails and a local bank..

Iam not jumping on the bandwagon but my wife and I are contemplating about opening a (indian) restaurant and I would like to know if we can open one on H1b/EAD status? I know I could consult an attorney but we are not gonna open it right away so wanted to get some insight from experts on this.
If we cant open on our own due to technicalities can we open it in someones name who has a GC or citizenship (my sister and her family recently got citizenship) and work in that resturant as employees, atleast my wife if not me.?

Yeah, PD is April 2005 EB3ROW, and its just frustrationg when you see a lot getting their approvals with a much later PD's. He was scheduled for interview in Aug. she already recieved her packet 4 when Aug vb came out and reinstated July VB. I knew that it had something to do with July vb fiasco since he got his packet 4 after July 2. There were no visas left for that time, so AUg. vb doesn't really matter.

me and my spouse filed 1485 in july 2007 with a received date of 10/07/07.
we donot see anychanges online other than the case received and pending notice.
is there a way we can find the status of our case.if name check is cleared,any further finger printing as we only did once in 2007.ours is eb3.any input highly appreciated.

Pardon my intrusion here! I searched various forums but I couldn't get any solid threads on visa number because it is so common term the search always yields wrong threads! so can some one tell me..what is a visa number after filing 485? is it same a A # ? or is there another number besides A#? Do we see it on 485 reciept? if not how do I find out? I

Eg: COnsider your approval and mine..We filed for 485 in 2004.. These cases are preadjudicated and just waiting for Visa number to become avilable..Once the july bulletein came into effect(or according to rumor even before) they assigned visa numbers to all pre approved cases that were pending...AGAIN USCIS DID NOT ASSIGN VISA NUMBERS TO CASES FILED IN JUNE

1. Do you know any one (your friend, client) used AC21 and faced same problem? Es
2. Is it true that AC-21 info don't get updated in the USCIS records?
3. If yes (2 question), then x-employer I-140 revocation will ALWAYS result in THIS kind of problems (as ind-game is facing)?
4. To attorneys only: Is AC-21 really helpful or misleading? Asking because if it don't update in USCIS records.
