And BTW, a 30k salary doesn't matter for executives. Jerry Yang works for $1 a year, so does it mean he is not eligible? And what about the executives working for free for a noble cause? Not everyone is money-minded, and they may choose their goals and priorities

No one gives up the stocks that they keep getting every year..infact, for many of these guys, the salary is just a drop in the bucket. Assuming the possibility that PD will be "unavailable" for the next few months at least, then on what basis do they allot visa numbers . PD or 485 receipt date
I believe Visa number is allocated only at time of Adjudicating i.e once everything is clear. At the time of adjudicating your PD should be current & you should be ahead of others per RD.

Cases are being pre-adjucated, So there are RFEs and other inquiries...After this, they will wait for visa number in PD Queue....which is a good thing...This assures there will be no wastage this year....

I am trying to pay thru PNC Bank. When trying to add IV, there are 2 options. One is With number and the second Without number.

From July onwards since there will be no EB3 visas to give, will those IOs previously assigned to EB3 cases be freed up, or will they continue working on EB3 cases (stopping just short of approving them)? What happens to RD who are in July, will their cases continue to process or no will look at them

Thanks for ur support and understanding. I think we better let these guys take a shot at what they are about to do. Immature and narrow minded is what they are and thats how they wanna be. Looks like they've been watching those Indian vigilante movies a lot and they think that they can get away with fighting a foreign Govt agency. They'll understand what we meant when they receive a cold shoulder from USCIS :D.

I was not married to her when she got her green card.It is even more difficult if we wait for family based petition, so we decided to get it through EB3, which at that time the sched A was very much highlighted.I am also ff any ammendments offered but to our dismay,the battle is even more uphill.She works in ICU and she said that it is undeniably true that shortage of nurses is everywhere.Am sure our wives are also suffering just as bad.Hope none of the lawmakers have to wait in ER becasue the nurse who is suppose to look after her/him is still waiting for his visa. this American dream is just taking its toll on a lot of people.It is very frustrating.

All they had to do was to introduce another $2000 fee for every Green Card Re-Captured. Most of us would have been out of this mess and they would have got the money they needed. This Grand posturing is extremely disturbing and i hate the politics behind it.
I wish the Democrats lose big time and lose their hold from Senate and house.
we all seem to think that after our problem is fixed, all the problems in the world will be gone..... if there is hunger problem, our solution ought to be increase in eb quota..... if there is drinking water problem, our solution is recapture.....
my reading is that chinese & indians think too much of themselves.... as if the world would collapse without them..... very narrow thinking..... now u would see a few here blaming indian politicians, some saying outsourcing will increase, some saying US will lose more jobs, world will fall apart...... well that's just too much reality for one day
lets get back to the important subjects of eb3 & eb2, crapy data analysis, shitty predictions & lets find out who is better than everyone else, is eb2 better more deserving that eb3....... or will the world stop spinning if the dates do not progress in the next month visa bulletin....... & those self-importance professing indian press articles..... these r the discussions we should be having.... can we please get back to those more important topics.....

The issues were related to low wages and insufficient experience. The company fixed the issues and ammended the Labour petition.
Will that cause a problem when it comes to the approval stage? Again, will that negatively affect I-140?

If I may suggest it may help our funding drive if we allow smaller contributions. (20$ or 10$) both recurring and one time.
I know at least a couple of people who would do a 20$ 2-3 times a year but won't do a $50. Anecdotal but may hold true for a lot more people.

So you want the people who are working on the initiatives to to go through and read and respond to every individual?

I support the donor idea. But there is no transperency to who is leading what initative. If i want to contribute my time, i have to read through the posts every day for several hours to find who is leading the effort so i can discuss with them. Sometimes i feel there is so much more talk.
Why don't we list out the initiatives that is being considered or worked on. Along with some contact information so people can discuss offline with them. I cannot be online for several hours and read through all the discussions and still not find out who is coordinating the efforts.
